Event Description

Introduction to WebEOC (VTNC-999.21)

This two hour Introduction to WebEOC includes an overview of the login process, entering and viewing data, navigating the menu system, and using the Common Operating Picture (COP) map.

The first hour will be a “watch and learn” presentation. During the second hour trainees will be asked to login to WebEOC, and given a list of objectives to complete on their own with time for questions.

This training has been developed with Emergency Management staff, Emergency Management Area Coordinators, and County Emergency Coordinators in mind. Members of those groups will be given priority registration status. While we welcome others who need to learn how to use the WebEOC platform, please understand you may not have access to all of the screens this training covers.

Users will learn how to request support for WebEOC, track information such as EM43s and Significant Events, submit and view Resource Requests, and find/update county contact information.

All students must have an active WebEOC account and must confirm they can login to https://www.ncsparta.net/eoc7 24 hours before the class begins.  The instructor will not be able to create accounts, unlock accounts or reset passwords during the class.
