Leadership and peers are given insight to the necessity for critical incident stress awareness, and overall occupation stress awareness. This is a foundation for leaders, directors, and supervisors as well as front line peers, to have insight on how their staff and co-workers may be impacted from one or multiple critical incidents. This is a non-certification awareness course that highlights all different elements of stress, its impacts, how to help, and basic concept of building an inner facility / agency / organization support team. This session is also a precursor to Mental Health Resiliency class and Critical Incident Stress Management / Peer support education and training.
