Respiratory Protection Administrator and Fit Testing - Train the Trainer (OEMS012)

The purpose of this training is to provide long term care facilities in North Carolina information to administer an Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant Respiratory Protection Program. Attendees will be provided guidance on creating an OSHA complaint Respiratory Protection Program to include a written plan, proper procedures for respirator fit testing, record keeping, and other necessary program elements. Upon completion, attendees will be able to train others to be fit testers using the qualitative (hood) method.
