The North Carolina Department of Information Technology’s FirstTech Program (NC DIT) will be conducting data sharing workshops with the goal of enhancing data sharing across the State of North Carolina. Participants and contributors to these workshops will include Public Safety practitioners in law enforcement, fire services, emergency medical response, emergency management and 9-1-1 officials.
These Data Sharing Workshops are designed to engage and leverage existing regional and interstate/inter-territory bodies to identify potential public safety broadband users and help them prepare for data sharing. The Workshops will identify data sharing opportunities, gaps, best practices, and explore governance and policies that need to be updated or established across the State of North Carolina.
Additional information, including a link for web registration, will be provided at a later date.
