Man Tracking for Search and Rescue (NC-8120)

Discover the art of man tracking.  Topics include tracking tools, finding and interpreting signs of passage, tactics used in closing the time/distance gap, methods used in search and rescue, tracking team security, and night tracking.  This course is recommended for fire, law enforcement and rescue personnel.

Offering Specific Information

This class is sponsored by and targeted specifically to Civil Air Patrol.  All registrants will be waitlisted.  Responders from outside agencies are encouraged to register and will be approved if space is available.

This course involves outdoor portions and night tracking exercises. Please bring a flashlight, water and wear appropirate clothing. 

Class start time on the 31st will be 0800 hours.

Specific class times will be discussed further on the first day of each session.
