Incident Command & Control: Managing the First 30 Minutes - Active Shooter (NC-9902)

In light of increasing number of high-profile active shooter/active assailant incidents across the United States, this training is being made available to first responders. Provides public safety command staff an overview of what is required to successfully manage the critical first 30 minutes of a multi-agency response to a chaotic, fast-moving and high-profile incident. The rapid and successful implementation of a strong Incident Command System (ICS) and Unified Command (UC) are recognized as critical tools in helping responders manage this incident in your community.

  • Street-Level Incident Command System (The Good, the Bad and the Ugly)
  • Response Models: Rescue Task Force (RTF) and Rapid Treatment Model (RTM)

Offering Specific Information

Must be members of Law Enforcement, Fire Service, EMS and Emergency Management. Also includes 911 Centers, Military Responders, K-12 School System Security Staff and Corporate Security Managers. Must have agency I.D./credentials to register and attend.

All local and state funded agencies’ first responders are fee exempt. US government and private employees have a cost of $75.00 prior to event per person.
