USAR Task Force Leader (NC-8203)

This course is designed to provide urban search and rescue personnel with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform task force leadership responsibilities on a task force at natural disasters or terrorist incidents. Participants will review the tactical and operational principles and standards relevant to managing a search and rescue disaster scene. Participants will also learn how to conduct control and direction of deployed US&R teams at a disaster incident.

Course Registration:

This course is funded by the NC USAR Program and is a closed course for members of the state sponsored Urban Search and Rescue Task Force.

Please include your Task Force name in the "Job Responsibilities Related to Course" section when registering for the course.

The USAR TFL must submit the participants name prior to approval in TERMS.

NCEM is providing lunch and double occupany lodging for this offering within the NCOSBM Guidelines.  The sponsoring agency is responsible for covering participant travel as well as breakfast and dinner cost for there participants. Dinner will be provided if a night exercise is conducted.
