Advanced JIS/JIC Workshop (FOR-0007)

The Advanced Joint Information System/Joint Information Center (JIS/JIC) Workshop provides an overall awareness of the JIS and being an integral member in a JIC. The 2-day skills workshop focus is based in three areas: Strategic Communications; Crisis Communications; and operating as a member of a Joint Information Center. Students are able to exercise public information skills. By completing this workshop, the student will be well prepared to continue their training in the FEMA Advanced PIO class.
